After nearly one month of emails to the Archdiocese of Portland, Oregon and finally a call to the CCHD office at USCCB, the Archdiocese of Portland has finally decided its CCHD grant to Children First for Oregon (CFFO) will not be renewed. I alerted the Portland Chancellory of CFFO’s opposition to parental notification of minors seeking an abortion. After my initial emails, the Chanellory would not respond to me. I finally called the CCHD office of USCCB and informed them that I would forward my materials to BellarmineVeritas. Well miraculously, today (one day later), the Archdiocese of Portland has informed CFFO that its grat fuding will not be renewed. Thank you BellarmineVeritas. You are making a difference!
